Old Glenora is Edmonton's most desired old house neighborhood and home to many of the most upscale Heritage Homes in Edmonton. It is located west of Groat Road and south of Stony Plain Road, north of 102 Ave. (more detail to come) The quintessential image that comes to mind is gorgeous Alexander Circle with its old cast iron street lights and central fountain, surrounded by all those wonderful Heritage Homes and architecturally designed infill houses like the Wolfenden 3 story built in 1985 facing southwest at about 2 o'clock in the circle. The Images of Old Glenora are pure magic be it winter, spring, summer or fall. However, fall is really the most amazing time of the year visually in the well-treed neighborhoods of Edmonton's' west end and river valley communities. Many other grand old houses are found on Glenora and Churchill Crescents, Connaught Drive and Wellington Crescent and throughout Old Glenora.
